It was surprising to find out how few NU students attend on-campus performances unless they know someone involved.

Amy Orts-an elementary education major from SUNY Brockport, originally from Akron, NY. A former NU student, and visiting for the day. "I have seen My Fair Lady, Dear World, and A Grand Night for Singing. I had friends in it and have been interested in theatre productions since high school."
 
Ryan Reichard-a senior Social Work major, from Syracuse, NY. "No, I haven't seen any. I have to work to pay my own tuition and it's hard finding a time to go."
 
Kim Olzchewski-a senior Sociology student from Syracuse, NY. "Yes, I've seen A Grand Night for Singing. My friends were going and I was curious to see what it was like."
 
Kari Nelson-a senior Psychology major from Orchard Park, NY. I've been to My Fair Lady. My friend was a part of it."
 
Jess Davidson-a senior criminal justice major from Rochester, NY. "I've been to a few. My friends have been in shows."
 
Emily Zimdahl-a junior Education/Spanish major. "Yes, I saw Laramie Project last year because I had to for my English 100 class."
 
Paula Spitale-a junior Business major from Tonawanda, NY. "I just transferred here so I've only seen Into the Woods but theatre is my passion so I'm sure I'll go to others."
 
Jen Kemak-a junior Elementary Education/Special Education major from Lackawanna, NY. "I never heard about when the dates were or saw them advertised."
 
Mackenzie Hassan-a senior French Education major. "No, I haven't. I'm not particularly interested in that stuff and I don't have much free time."
 
Justin Lambert-a senior Business Management major from Rochester, NY. "Yes, both of my last two girlfriends made me go to a couple. I don't remember which ones."
 
Roseanne DeFlorio-a freshman Business major from Erie, PA. "Yes, I saw A Shayna Maidel and Into the Woods because I was friends with people in the show."
 
Brooke Johnston-a sophomore Psychology major from West Seneca, NY. "I saw the Dance Concert last year because it was a floor program in my dorm and I was an RA. I haven't seen anymore because I can't get transportation to the off-campus shows."
 
Karen Young-a freshman Accounting major from Utica, NY. "I saw Into the Woods because my friends were in it."
